The Adopt-A-Sister Program is a way for our donors to stand side by side with one of the Glenmary Sisters, assisting her in the mission field without ever leaving your home. When you adopt a Sister you support her through your prayers as well as deed. Your contribution, made each month, quarter, or year, goes towards supporting the good work your adopted Sister does each day for others in need.

How Does The Program Work?

Once you let us know that you would like to adopt a Sister we will send you a letter of welcome along with a short biography and photograph of your adopted Sister. You will also receive Kaleidoscope, the newsletter of the program. It is published at least four times a year. You will also receive personal letters (at least three time per year) from your adopted Sister.

The Rewards

Each Sister considers her adopters not only as fellow missioners but also as special members of her Glenmary family. Many times, through correspondence and even occasional visits, wonderful friendships have developed as joys and sorrows are shared, accompanied by the promise of daily remembrance in her prayer.

We request a minimum donation of $25.00 a month or more if you are able. Your loving support and generosity is a constant blessing to all of our Glenmary Sisters!
